- With webcams fast becoming ubiquitous for everything from job interviews to online dating, observers predict that the procedure will be in hot demand.
WHAT THIS MEANS TO BUSINESS
- “I’m ready for my closeup, Mr. DeMille.” Or maybe not; these days, aging movie stars aren’t the only ones wary of an unforgiving lens. As Dr. Sigal puts it, webcams are like “mirrors on steroids,” exposing flaws that might well go unnoticed in real face-to-face encounters.
- Seasoned employees and older jobseekers looking for an edge in today’s market need to put their best face forward, and $10,000 is a relatively small investment.
